One Week to Go!
On Sunday I sat down with Laura Ingle on NewsNation Live, and she started where most of you start when you stop me at the grocery store: what everything costs. Groceries, gas, the monthly squeeze. We also got into Georgia’s economy, the new jobs coming to this state, and where Rich McCormick and I disagree most: AI data centers.
Here’s what I didn’t get to say on air: a national TV hit doesn’t win a congressional race. Voters in this district do, and reaching them in the last week takes money.
I challenged Congressman McCormick to six debates, one in every county in GA-07. He showed up to none. That means the only way voters hear the contrast is if we put it in front of them ourselves, and we can’t do that for free.
What the final week costs
Digital voter contact: $10,500
Mail to persuadable voters: $8,800
GOTV (texts, calls, door-knocking): $20,000
We’re $5,200 short of what it takes to finish the job.
Here’s how you can help
$10 keeps our turnout texts going to another 10,000 voters.
$25 supports canvassers going to 1,000 undecided voters online.
$50 or more helps provide pizza for 5 more volunteers.
If you’ve already given, thank you. Forward this to one friend who cares about Georgia and ask them to match you. Small gifts from people like you are what’s powered this campaign.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd. Georgia’s 7th deserves a congressman who shows up, and these last seven days decide whether it gets one.
