Five debates since August 2026, an early congressional recess in September, and Rich McCormick has skipped every one of them. On October 5, I stood on stage in Forsyth County for the fifth debate in our six-county GA-07 series. McCormick was invited, and his campaign received invitations from the moderators in addition to my campaign's outreach. The invitation stayed open, but he didn't come. So I did what I've done at every stop: I answered every question. Maya T. Prabhu of Peach Pol moderated. She pushed back on my positions with opposing arguments and with McCormick's own public record, and you submitted many of the questions yourselves. To every Forsyth County voter who sent a question or filled a seat that night: thank you. That's what this process is supposed to look like.
